ALDI Opening an Overwhelming Success!

As early as 6:45 in the morning, crowds began to assemble for the 9 am opening of Annandale's newest retailer, ALDI.

Supervisor Penny Gross offered a warm and gracious welcome to the ALDI staff and management followed by the official ribbon cutting. So large was the crowd, that at any given time at least 40 people remained outside waiting for shopping carts. Inside, shoppers were greeted with a beautifully appointed modern space stocked with colorful fresh fruits & vegetables, seasonal specials such as spare ribs for the weekend BBQ, vibrantly colored hanging pots of summer flowers for only $5.99, gluten-free product lines, and pantry items to meet every culinary taste. ALDI is known for high-quality groceries at incredibly low prices, which was more than apparent today.

The Annandale Chamber of Commerce wishes ALDI great success with their Annandale store and thanks the Annandale Shopping Center for bringing ALDI to our community.

ALDI Annandale will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m.to 7 p.m. on Sunday, and accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
