Wednesday: Periods of rain, with a high of 64 and low of 55 degrees. 📰 News we're reading • Design approved for Route 7 sidewalk (annandaletoday.com ) — A new VDOT-approved sidewalk design along Route 7 in nearby Bailey's Crossroads aims to make a notoriously dangerous stretch of Leesburg Pike safer for Annandale-area pedestrians and drivers. The 500-foot sidewalk, with ADA-compliant ramps and a buffer from traffic, is fully funded at $2.9 million, with construction expected to begin in early 2029.
