Annandale Man Dies After Car Strikes Tree

Police say an Annandale man died when his car crashed into a tree in Great Falls Saturday.

ANNANDALE, VA—Fairfax County Police say an Annandale man is one of two that died after a car hit a tree in Great Falls Saturday night.

Around 7 p.m., police responded to the crash in the 10500 block of Beach Mill Road. Investigations show the car had been traveling west on the road when it veered off the road then crossed back over the road in the opposite direction and struck a tree.

The driver, Benjamin Wenger, 26, of Annandale, and a passenger, Abigail Ryan, 23, of Great Falls, were pronounced dead on the scene. A female minor was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
