Annandale Dollar Store Robbed at Gunpoint: Police

Fairfax County Police say that a local store was robbed in broad daylight Saturday at gunpoint.

The armed robbery took place Saturday at 1:28 p.m. at the Annandale Dollar Store, located in the 7200 block of Maple Place.

Two men entered the store and demanded money from an employee, according to police. One of the suspects displayed a handgun at an employee, police said. Cash and property were taken, according to police.

The suspects fled and were described as two black males, in their 20s, between 5 feet 7 inches tall and 5 feet 10 inches tall, according to police. The victim did not require medical attention, police said.
