Annandale High Varsity Basketball Coach Steps Down

Anthony Harper, 's varsity basketball head coach, is stepping down from his position, according to the AHS student newspaper, The A-Blast.

The A-Blast reports Harper announced his decision to the team yesterday at practice. Assistant Coach Bobby Terry will take over as interim head coach and Junior Varsity Coach Daniel Porter will replace Terry as the assistant coach.

When asked why Harper is leaving his coaching position, Fairfax County Public Schools told Patch the situation is a "personnel matter" and would not disclose any information. Annandale Patch will update as more information becomes available.
