Annandale Man Arrives Home to Find Burglar in His Living Room

An Annandale man arrived home Thursday night to find a man in his living room, according to police.

The suspect fled when he was confronted by the victim, police said. The incident took place in the 7700 block of Donnybrook Court in Annandale. Police were called Thursday night at 6:40 p.m.

The suspect entered the residence through an unsecured door, police said. The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and between 150 to 165 pounds, wearing a short-sleeve polo shirt and black pants.

Police did not say what, if anything, the suspect took from the home.
