The Annandale Parade Coming Up Saturday

The popular Annandale Parade will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am. Marching along Columbia Pike from the historic white church and the Annandale Shopping Center near Gallows Road, all the way to the Bowling Alley-Safeway, thousands of participants from Clowns, Storybook Characters, and Marching Bands to Antique & Military Cars, Fire Trucks, Civic Organizations, Scouts, and beautifully costumed International Dancers will parade before the residents of Greater Annandale. Sponsored by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, this sixty-six year old tradition only gets bigger and better every year.
Children of the community are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and watch the fun!

This year's Grand Marshal is Mike Magill of Magill's Pizza and Pasta Restaurant (7201 Little River Turnpike, across from Giant Food). Mike has been a resident and business owner in Annandale for over 30 years. His restaurant provides job training and employment to young members of our community with various disabilities, along with a cheerful mentoring environment. Mike has for decades been a great supporter of our first responders, hosting numerous meals on their behalf. The Chamber welcomes Mike as this year's Grand Marshal and thanks him for the support he provides the Annandale Community every
