Annual Annandale Clean-Up Day

Meet at the George Mason Library

This annual clean-up will run from 9:00 am to NOON on Saturday, April 23rd. Please assemble at the George Mason Library, 7001 Little River Turnpike and help keep Annandale litter free. Don’t be late as the refreshments go quickly.

Supervised scout troops and students, needing to fulfill community service hours, are most welcome to participate. Helen Winter has been leading this annual clean-up for over twenty-five years. She is also responsible for planting many dozens of trees in the Central Business District, and is an inspiration to all who have ever met her. She never gripes, she never points blame; she leads by example, and just gets on with the job. The Chamber thanks Helen Winter for her dedication to the Annandale Community. Join her for coffee and donuts first thing, then lend a hand with this annual clean-up.
