Bailey's Crossroads Rotarians deliver Thanksgiving cheer

Nov. 21 was the 37th annual Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club Thanksgiving meal distribution. JEB Stuart High School Interact students joined Bailey’s Rotarians to distribute 111 boxes of food to deserving people in the Culmore area.
We were honored to have District 7610 Governor Janet Brown and First Gentleman Felton Page attending to talk to students and Rotarians.
President Pat Borowski presented a Service Above Self certificate to the Bailey’s Crossroads Safeway for 20 years of support to this effort. Safeway Manager Joseph Pittman accepted the award for Safeway.
Thanks to everyone, especially Rotarian David Kaye who manged the distribution effort.
