Bailey's Crossroads Rotarians help Go Baby Go

Rotarians at work

On Sept. 17, Bailey’s Crossroads Rotarians participated in an inaugural Go Baby Go event at Marymount University in Arlington.
Go Baby Go transforms the lives of children with mobility challenges by providing adapted battery powered cars and 4-wheelers to help these kids move in their environment ... just like other kids do.
Rotarians Amy O'Malley (one of the organizers of Go Baby Go), Steven and K Wasko, Kari Kelley, Lloyd Stoessell, Kate Walter, Dave Mercer, Dennis and Sarah Shannon, Curtis Anderson, Neesa Hoskin, Glad Hatchl, Bill Bailey, Max Gross, Susan and Bob Lydick and Dave Borowski helped build two cars that were sponsored by the club. The club donated $2,500 for the cars.
A total of 12 cars were assembled by various community groups and given to 12 lucky families to make their children mobile.
Rotarian Amy O'Malley did a great job in organizing this wonderful event.
