Bailey's Crossroads Rotarians Pack Meals
Meal Packs are for area elementary school inclement weather events

The Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club held its annual inclement meal packaging event Jan. 5 at Arlington Moose Lodge. Nearly 100 volunteers including Bailey’s Crossroads Rotarians, Justice Interact students, community members and Moose lodge members packed 15,000 meals in less than two hours. In the event of inclement weather school closings, principals can send these meals home with students for use while schools are closed. Packages will be delivered to schools in the coming week. We want to thank the Moose Lodge for donating the space for this important event. Our club donated funds to the food packing event made possible by our annual Classic Ford Mustang raffle. Our club also made a donation to Moose Charities.
Rotarians participating in the event included Kate Walter, Sarah M. Shannon, Dennis Shanno, Pepper Borowski, Kari Kelley, Max Gross, Nasrine Gross, Steven Wasko, K Wasko, Pam Martinov, Judy McDermott, Roger Hoskin, Neesa Hoskin, Dave Borowski, Glad Hatchl, Donald Wellen, Donna Wellen, Elise Bengsten, Loretta Prencipe and Jim Holcombe.Family members of BXRC members participating include Ava and Maggie Bengsten, Brendan Shannon, Dan Nguyen, John Traub and Ron Jones.
