Bailey's Crossroads Rotary Club Packs School Supplies
Joins other neighbors to prep for the Justice Pyramid Fair
About 75 people, including members of the Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club and the Arlington Moose Lodge, joined neighborhood volunteers July 27 for the Great Assembly at the Moose Lodge in Falls Church.
The group prepared more than 800 campus survival kits packed with folders, composition books, glue sticks and other necessary school supplies.
The Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club donated funds to purchase the supplies and the Moose lodge donated space for the assembly.
These kits will be distributed at the fifth annual pyramid-wide resource fair Aug. 8, 2019 from 1 to 4 pm. at Justice High School in Falls Church.
The Justice Pyramid includes approximately 8,600 students. More than 67 percent of these children qualify for free or reduced special price school meals.
