How do you find good local restaurants nearby? You could drive down the street and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Annandale Patch will pick a great restaurant either right here in Annandale or nearby, that is worth checking out. Here's our choice for this week:
El Tio Tex Mex Grill
El Tio Grill of Falls Church is a wonderful neighborhood bar and restaurant that serves a variety of yummy Tex-Mex entrees. If Mexican food is what you’re craving, El Tio Grill is where you need to be. You can order everything from beef and cheese enchiladas to fish tacos and other Pancho platters. There’s also a full bar. Top off your meal with some tres leches or other desserts offered.
Oh, and if that’s not enough to convince you, El Tio Grill features a live mariachi band every Friday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Enjoy a tequila with your taco and try one of El Tios shaken, not stirred margaritas. 7630 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22041. 703-204-0233.
