Bullet Hits Living Room Window In Annandale: Police

Police are investigating a shooting that struck a home in Annandale Sunday.

Police responded to a call from the 4500 block of Commons Drive. A resident had been sleeping when she heard a window break. Officers arrived to find a bullet had gone through the living window, struck a light fixture and lodged in the bedroom door.

Neighbors in a building nearby said they had heard gunshots. No injuries were reported.
