Non-gardeners, experienced gardeners and everyone in between are welcome to volunteer with Hands On Harvests at The EGG (Eileen Garnett Garden). At this demonstration garden, we grow herbs, veggies and native plants that attract pollinators. Harvests are donated to local pantries, although volunteers are welcome to take home some fruits of their labor.
On the 28th, we'll be harvesting the last of the spring crops, planting summer crops, watering and weeding. HOH provides everything you'll need except a bottle of water and sunscreen. Please register at the attached link so we know to expect you. The workday is from 10-noon, but come and go as you need to.
