Crime Report: Annandale Girl, 11, Reports Being Grabbed
The following incidents were reported to the West Springfield, Mason, and Franconia District Stations, which include parts of Annandale.

West Springfield District Station
Assault
An 11-year-old girl said that an unknown man grabbed her arm when she was throwing a ball, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The incident was reported at 3:10 p.m. Saturday on the 8100 block of Braddock Road in Annandale. Police said that the girl was not injured. Police said that none of the adults could provide more information on the incident.
Burglary

A resident reported that someone entered their home and stole a laptop computer, police said. The incident was reported at 12:40 a.m. on Sunday from the 7400 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale.

- 3300 block of Gallows Road: ring reported stolen from hospital
- 7900 block John Adams Court: handgun reported stolen from residence
- Lake Braddock Drive/Castlebury Court: tools reported stolen from vehicle
- 5300 block of Queensberry Avenue: tools reported stolen from vehicle
Mason District Station
Unlawful Entry
A resident said that someone entered their home and was scared off, according to police.
The incident took place at 6:50 p.m. on Sunday on the 4200 block of Conally Street in Annandale. The unwelcome person had entered the home through an unlocked door and left when the resident inside confronted him.
Burglary
A resident reported that forced their way into a home, according to police. The incident was reported to police at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the 4600 block of Barnum Lane. Nothing was reported stolen.
Assault
A 19-year-old employee was struck in the face by a customer, according to police. The incident was reported at 9:25 p.m. on the 6000 block of Leesburg Pike in the Bailey’s Crossroads area. Adelio Romero Mendez, 37, of Falls Church, was charged with being drunk in public.

- 7500 block of Parkwood Court: jewelry reported stolen from residence
Franconia District Station
Unlawful Entry
Someone had forced their way into an empty apartment, according to police. An employee reported the incident at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday on the 7000 block of Rhoden Court in Springfield.

- 7500 block of Cross Gate Lane: plants reported stolen from residence
- 6500 block of Frontier Drive: laptop reported stolen from business
- 5000 block of Greenhaven Place: compressor reported stolen from vehicle
- 9800 block of Gunston Road: landscaping equipment reported stolen from business
- 6900 block of Pacific Lane: four tires reported stolen from vehicle
- 5200 block of Port Royal Road: backpack reported stolen from business
- 6600 block of Springfield Mall: electronic device reported stolen from business
