Through my small business, Rogers Resolution Services, I offer mediation and conflict-resolution support tailored to your unique needs and help guide people through difficult conversations. I work primarily with co-parents, partners, relatives, roommates, and teams who need help talking through decisions, routines, boundaries, or recurring disagreements. A location and time have not been announced, but checkpoints typically happen at night.During checkpoints, hundred of drivers pass through and are screened for alcohol use. Police remind residents to not drink and drive. In Virginia, the legal limit of blood alcohol concentration is 0.08 percent.In 2017, Fairfax County Police made 2,139 DWI arrests, which increased from 1,957 arrests in 2016 and 1,841 arrests in 2015. The penalty for a first-time DUI offense is an administrative license suspension for seven days, a minimum $250 fine (maximum $2,500), license revocation for one year, and other possible penalties.
