Led by music director Christopher Johnston, the NOVA-Annandale Symphony Orchestra has been performing a wide range of music embracing different cultures and heritages since 1994. It is the "Orchestra-in-Residence" at the Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center on the Northern Virginia Community College's Annandale Campus.
