A Fairfax County man has been charged with malicious wounding after a fight broke out between him and another man Tuesday night. The fight broke out at a home in the 3900 block of Melvern Place off of Columbia Pike at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.  Police responded to a fight between two men inside a private residence.   A 28-year-old man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Joel Palacios Vasquez, 44, of the Alexandria area of Fairfax County, was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding.

The fight broke out at a home in the 3900 block of Melvern Place off of Columbia Pike at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
