'Good Grief, A Griffin' at Annandale High School
The children's musical is donation only for admission.

will host "Good Grief, A Griffin," a children's musical on Friday, Feb. 3 a 7 p.m. in the main auditorium. Admission to the musical is free, but the production is accepting donations.
According to the AHS bulletin, the play, produced by Special Arrangement with Anchorage Press and presented by Annandale Theatre Arts, tells the story of a "mythical tale of a Griffin (half Lion and half Eagle) who comes to a medieval village and causes all kinds of mischief. The inhabitants have never seen a Griffin and are very frightened. They are fearful, selfish and rude to the visitor. The Mayor, Minor Canon and many villagers do their best to get rid of the Griffin before he “eats them.” Lessons about being accepting and tolerant of others are learned as the cast sings many beautiful songs as they go on their journey of discovery."
The play should last about 75 minutes and is intended for children age 6 to age 14.
