The loss of a spouse, or partner, whether sudden or after a long illness, is a life-altering experience. You have lost your best friend, roommate, lover and playmate. Your dreams for a lifetime with your beloved partner have abruptly ended. You face numerous issues as you grieve and work to reestablish your life without this special person.

Facilitator: Elizabeth Turner Haase, Ph.D.
Elizabeth Turner Haase is a psychologist in private practice specializing in grief, trauma, chronic and life threatening illness and other loss issues. A former Clinical Director of the William Wendt Center for Loss and Healing, Dr. Haase is a licensed psychologist, certified grief therapist and a fellow in Thanatology.

Directions to Washington Regional Transplant Community
From I-495 in Northern Virginia (on the inner or outer loop), take Exit 52-B toward Annandale (Route 236 East).
Turn right at the first traffic light at the Heritage Drive- Hummer Road intersection.
Make the first left turn into the parking lot. Bear left and park in front or at the side of the building in 2 hour visitor parking. There is also parking underground, entrance on the Little River Turnpike side of the building.
From the lobby, take the elevator for the 9th floor.
