K-9 Team Catches Suspect in Annandale Chase: Police
Suspect was speeding and disregarded officer's signal to stop. He sped away and struck another vehicle and ran off on foot.

Fairfax County Police say that a K-9 team nabbed a suspect Saturday afternoon in Annandale.
Police say the incident took place Saturday at about 3:45 p.m. in the 6700 block of Alpine Drive, near Columbia Elementary School.
It started when an officer spotted a vehicle speeding and attempted to stop the driver, police say. The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop, police said.

Instead, the driver sped away and struck another vehicle and the driver of the car ran off on foot, according to police.
The suspect was caught by a K-9 team and taken into custody, police said.

Quante Jones, 18 of Washington D.C. was charged with fail to obey highway sign, no driver’s license, felony speed to elude, felony hit and run and possession of marijuana.
