Local Cub Scouts Begin Spring Recruitment
Annandale's Pack 150 announces its spring recruitment event
Do you know somebody ready to be a Cub Scout? Annandale’s Cub Scout Pack 150 is holding a Meet and Greet on Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at Annandale United Methodist Church. The Meet and Greet is a Cub Scout Pack Meeting specially designed to introduce boys in who will be in grades 1 through 5 during the 2015-2016 school year to Cub Scouting. This means that rising first graders are eligible to participate. This will be the last Meet and Greet held before the Pack’s Spring Campout and summer events.
Pack 150 is chartered by Annandale United Methodist Men at Annandale United Methodist Church. So far this year, the Cub Scouts have marched in the Annandale Parade, placed wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America, held a Pinewood Derby and collected food for needy families as part of Scouting for Food. Although summer is fast approaching, it is not too late to join in order to participate in the spring family campout at Prince William Forest Park in May, summer camp for rising 4th and 5th graders, baseball night at the park and the Raingutter Regatta.
