The car cut through several yards during the police chase.

ANNANDALE, VA—What started as an illegal window tint issue turned into a dangerous chase through several yards in Annandale Wednesday, police say.

Around 5:20 p.m., an officer tried to pull over a car for the window tint violation at Little River Turnpike and Markham Street. The car sped away, leading to a pursuit. During the chase, the driver struck four cars and drove through a few yards. Police say a person involved in one of the four crashes went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police ended the chase due to the driver's dangerous actions, but the car crashed a short time later. The driver and front seat passenger fled on foot, leading the police helicopter, K9 unit and officers to track them down.
