Man Punched, Robbed After Getting Into Wrong Uber
Two men in the car robbed the victim and dropped him off in Annandale.

A man thought he was getting an Uber ride but ended up beaten up and robbed in Annandale early Wednesday, Fairfax County Police say.
A man reported the robbery in the 6900 block of Braddock Road between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. The victim got into a car believing it was his Uber ride.
The two men drove him to Braddock Road and told him to get out of the car. The men reportedly punched him several times, stole his wallet and fled in the car, a silver Toyota.

When requesting a rider, Uber suggests that riders confirm that the license plate number provided in the app matches the license plate on the car.
