Man Tries To Abduct Juvenile In Annandale: Police
Police say the man grabbed the juvenile, who had been playing with a friend.

ANNANDALE, VA — Fairfax County Police are seeking suspect information after an attempted abduction of a juvenile in Annandale on Sunday, Oct. 13.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. in the 3300 block of Wheatwheel Lane. The juvenile had been playing with a friend near the road when the man picked him or her up from behind. The juvenile fought off the man and went home. The suspect fled the area after the juvenile got free.
Police are seeking home surveillance footage from residents in the area of Wheatwheel Drive and Gallows Road around 3 p.m. The surveillance footage could provide police with an image of the suspect.

The suspect was described as a late 20 to early 30-year-old black man with a medium complexion, short black hair and thin build. He has a small scratch on his face and was clean shaven. He had been wearing a dark shirt and slim-fitted pants at the time.
