Mason District Council to Host Candidate Forum and Debate
The two-part event will feature candidates running for the School Board and Board of Supervisors

Candidates for the Mason District seat on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and at-large candidates for the Fairfax County School Board will participate in a forum and debate event on Monday, Oct. 17 at .
Hosted by the Mason District Council of Community Associations and the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area (LWVFA), the two-part event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an open house. The forum featuring at-large School Board candidates will start at 7 p.m, followed by the debate between Mason District Supervisor and challenger David Feld at 8 p.m
"By bringing this event to our communities, Mason District Council continues to serve, strengthen and connect our neighborhoods," said Loretta Prencipe, Mason District Council second vice chair and president of the Lincolnia Park Civic Association in a news release about the event.

Six candidates are running for at-large seats, including , , , , , and .

"Mason District residents are concerned about a variety of issues at the local level. The Council fills an important need for community engagement and neighborhood connections," said , vice chair of the Mason District Council and president of the Parklawn Civic Association, in the news release.
