New Camelot Elementary School Principal Announced

Aileen Flaherty has been named the new principal of . 

According to a message sent by Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), Flaherty was an assistant principal at in Falls Church  and in Vienna prior to being selected as principal at Camelot. While at Graham Road, Flaherty was also the Intersession Coordinator and a resource teacher.

Flaherty, who has National Board Certification in addition to a Postgraduate Professional License, also taught at Olde Creek and Woodburn elementary schools.

Back in June, Camelot parents were able to submit suggestions to the school during the principal selection process.

Flaherty's first day as principal was on July 9.
