Nielsen, Reynolds Represent Annandale at Northern Region Golf Championship

Greg Nielsen and Eric Reynolds hoped to be competing with the rest of their Atoms teammates this week at the Northern Region Golf Championship. That may not be the case, but they still carried the banner well.

Nielsen shot an 83 while Reynolds carded an 87 in Tuesday's opening round. Langley's Will Byrne leads all golfers with a one-over 73, while Chantilly's Ji Soo Park and Robinson's Alexandra Austin are tied for second at 74.

Chantilly leads the team competiton after posting a 304 on Tuesday, while Langley is in second with 310. The Saxons' Will Byrne had the best individual score, with a one-over 73. Chantilly's Ji Soo Park and Robinson's Alexandra Austin are tied for second with 74.

Day two kicks off from Twin Lakes Golf Course at noon.
