No Injuries in Vacant Home Fire

The unoccupied dwelling is currently under construction.

Firefighters from the station 408 responded to a fire in the 4000 block of Hirst Drive around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.

The fire, which took 10-15 minutes to get under control, occured in a vacant home that is under construction. Firefighters could see flames from the roof of the building upon arrival. There were no civilian or personnel injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
