An Ohio man plead guilty to two counts of capital murder in Fairfax County Circuit Court on Wednesday, Nov. 9 for killing an Annandale woman back in July 2009, according to the Washington Post.
The woman, Chung A. Auh, 53, was found dead in her home at 4119 Hummer Road, which also served as the location for her acupuncture business. Daniel Kim, 47, of Dublin, Ohio, was renovating Auh's home when he discovered she had a safe containing $140,000, the Post reports.
Authorities believe Kim and his brother drove from Columbus, Ohio, and tried to get Auh to open the safe and killed her when they were unable to open it. Initial media reports and information stated Auh suffered upper body trauma. The police affidavit revealed her throat was slashed.
