Elderly Person Struck, Killed By Car In Annandale
BREAKING: A pedestrian went to the hospital after being struck by a car in Annandale.

ANNANDALE, VA—An elderly pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Tuesday morning in Annandale, Fairfax County Police say.
The crash at Columbia Pike and Gallows Road happened shortly after 5 a.m.. The victim was trying to cross Columbia Pike outside the crosswalk and was struck by a car heading eastbound. The pedestrian was identified as Ok Soon Kim, 78, of Annandale.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with police. Speed nor alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, and police do not expect to charge the driver. The investigation continues.
