Photos: Oakwood School 2011 Annual Field Day Celebration

in Annandale held its annual field day event earlier this afternoon where students presented the school's founders, Bob and Mary McIntyre, with a check for $40,000.

The money was raised through a raffle and will go toward purchasing a school bus so that students may enjoy field trips in the Washington, D.C. area. The students who sold 40 or more tickets had the opportunity to participate in a pie toss with their teachers and staff as the targets.
