Police: Annandale Shooter Suspect Is Blonde Female
Police say the suspect was last seen Tuesday night heading westbound in a white car on Little River Turnpike.

Fairfax County Police say a suspect is at large in a shooting Tuesday night in Annandale that has left a man hospitalized.
Police were called Tuesday night around 9:05 p.m. to the area of Little River Turnpike and Pinecrest Heights Drive for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found the victim partially in the roadway and quickly secured the scene, according to FCPD. Preliminary investigation determined that the victim had suffered a gunshot to the upper body and the suspect had fled.
The victim, a 26 year-old man from the Annandale area, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. He was later upgraded to non-life threatening status.
Police said the suspect fled in a vehicle described as white sedan, possibly a Honda. The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Little River Turnpike.

The suspect was described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, between 120 to 135 pounds, and had blonde hair.
A search of the area was conducted but neither the vehicle nor the suspect was located. The relationship between the victim and the suspect is currently unknown. At this point detectives do not believe this was a random event.
