Police Blotter Jan. 30: Breaking and Entering, Valuables Stolen

The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Franconia District Crime Summaries from Jan. 15-Jan. 21

Driving While Intoxicated, Backlick Rd / Galesville Pl, 1/15/12. An individual was found to be driving while intoxicated.

Destruction of Private Property, 7000 block of Braddock Rd, 1/17/12.  An individual reported that a vehicle was keyed.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 7200 block of Little River Tpke, 1/21/2012. A business was broken into by breaking a window.  Merchandise was stolen.

Larcenies

4200 block of Annandale Road—back pack stolen from business

7900 block of College Lane—washer and dryer stolen from residence

7800 block of Heritage Drive—cell phone stolen from business

4400 block of Island Place—tools stolen from vehicle

7600 block of Little River Turnpike—purse stolen from school
