Abduction/Stolen Auto

Police are searching for the public’s help in a kidnapping and car theft incident that took place in the 7500 block of Murillo Street on Sunday, October 23 around 4 p.m. A 2006 Honda Pilot left with its engine running and a sleeping 2-year-old boy in the back seat, was stolen while his mother briefly stepped inside a home. As she returned to the car, she saw it being driven down the street. Neighbors and police found the car and the unharmed child abandoned nearby at the intersection of Backlick Road and Leesville Boulevard within minutes of the report. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
