Police: Purse Stolen from Residence on Holborn Avenue

The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

On April 16 at a residence in the 4200 block of Holborn Avenue, a woman said she heard a noise at the front door around 9:45 p.m. She said she saw a subject walking down her driveway and later realized her purse was stolen. Residents are reminded to keep their windows and doors locked, even while at home.

Fraud, 6900 block of Pacific Lane, 3/26/12. An individual reported that fraudulent charges were made against his account.

Drugs, Braddock Rd/Philip Rd., 3/29/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be driving while intoxicated and in possession of a large amount of marijuana and cash.

Larceny, 4700 block of Columbia Rd., 3/29/12. A “No Trespassing” sign and a “Private Property” sign were removed from an individual’s residence.

Destruction of Property, 4500 block of King Edward Ct, 4/1/12. Two vehicles had their tires slashed.

Larceny, 5000 block of Columbia Rd, 4/10/12. Both license plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Drugs, 6700 block of Perry Penney Dr, 4/12/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.
