Police ID Annandale Bank Robbery Suspect
Police: Suspect was recently arrested in Pennsylvania for allegedly defrauding company he worked for; may now be using assumed name.

Detectives have identified a suspect of the M & T Bank robbery on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Annandale as Randy Thompson, 29, of York, Pennsylvania, Fairfax County Police said this week.
Family members reported Thompson as missing to the Baltimore City Police Department on Nov. 2. He was last seen in the 2100 block of North Charles Street on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Based on his mental status and recent circumstances in his life, Thompson was listed as āmissing endangered.ā

According to news accounts, Thompson was arrested in September for allegedly defrauding an Upper Allen Township business by purchasing $47,000 in computer equipment during the past year, pennlive.com reported.
After following up numerous leads, detectives obtained a warrant for bank robbery on Thursday, Nov. 5 in Fairfax County.

Detectives believe that the suspect has assumed a new identity in another state and that he may be living under an unknown alias.
