UPDATE: Police ID Homicide Victim in Annandale

Body found in creek behind apartments.

UPDATE Wednesday:

Fairfax County Police detectives are continuing to investigate the death of a man found Monday in the Annandale area and have identified the body, they said Wednesday afternoon, in a news release.

The deceased has been identified as Milton Adonay Leon Angel, 19, of no fixed address. Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

Police are investigating a homicide in the Annandale area, according to a news release from Fairfax County Police.

On Monday, March 16, around 4:43 p.m., officers responded to a wooded area behind apartments, located in the 4300 block of Ivymount Court, for the report of a body found in a creek. Officers located the body of an adult male with trauma to the upper body.

This investigation is ongoing. The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death. Positive identification has not yet been made.
