Information Sought After Fatal Shooting At Nightclub In Annandale
Police say the victim was involved in an altercation in the parking lot.
ANNANDALE, VA — Police are investigating a homicide in Annandale that happened early Friday.
Police responded to a shooting at the Diamond Lounge in the 7200 block of Little River Turnpike around 2:12 a.m. One man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The victim, Samuel Njikang, 27, of Woodbridge, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

Preliminary investigations indicated the man was involved in an altercation with a group in the parking lot. He was believed to be shot during that altercation.
Detectives continued to gather evidence Friday morning. The investigation is active as detectives conduct interviews, process evidence, and canvass the area for witnesses. There was no immediate information on a suspect.
