Hi, I'm Shelby! I’m a local mediator who helps neighbors resolve family, relationship, and workplace conflicts in a calm, structured way. Through my small business, Rogers Resolution Services, I offer mediation and conflict-resolution support tailored to your unique needs and help guide people through difficult conversations. I work primarily with co-parents, partners, relatives, roommates, and teams who need help talking through decisions, routines, boundaries, or recurring disagreements. I also support workplaces and community groups facing communication challenges or breakdowns. My role is neutral. I don’t give legal advice or take sides. I facilitate conversations, de-escalate tense situations, and help people reach practical and maintainable agreements they can feel comfortable with. Fairfax County Police say a teenager and a 12-year old were apprehended in an alleged burglary at a local elementary school Thursday night.The alleged incident took place Thursday at about 7:26 p.m. at Parklawn Elementary School in Lincolnia according to police. Officers were called out to the school, located in the 4100 block of Braddock Road, for a burglary alarm. Officers located the suspects and arrested them. Trequan R. Smith, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with receiving stolen property. Petitions for a 12 year-old male juvenile will be obtained; police released him to his parents.
