Police: Two Vehicles Stolen and Jewelry Taken from a Residence

The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Burglary

4700 block of Commons Drive, 5/17/12, 7:20 p.m. The residents reported someone entered their home and stole jewelry and cash. It has not been determined how entry was made.

Franconia District Station Crime Summaries from May 13-May 19

Motor Vehicle Theft, 5/16/12, 4300 block of Ravensworth Road, Vehicle key was stolen out of locked gym locker; vehicle was then stolen from the parking lot.

Larceny, Little River Turnpike/Old Columbia Pike, 5/17/12, Vehicle window broken; airbag stolen.

Assault, 6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Ctr,5/18/12, A subject reported that he was jumped by three unknown males while riding his bike. They assaulted him and fled the area on foot.

Larceny, 6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Ctr, 5/19/12, Keys were stolen from a gym common area.
