The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following items came from recent police updates through Aug. 1 from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Weapons Violation, 4600 block of Conwell Dr, July 25, 2012.Residents reported finding spent shell casings on the ground from a firearm and recalled hearing shots the night before.

Larceny, 7400 block of Covent Wood Ct, July 25, 2012. Electronics, sports equipment, and other items were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
