Police: Woman Assaulted Thursday Night in Annandale Area

The suspect is described as an Asian male, between 20-30 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with spiked black hair.

Fairfax County Police say a woman was assaulted Thursday night in Annandale.

A 28-year-old woman was walking Thursday at around 10:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of Eastmoreland Road (see map) in Annandale where she was grabbed from behind and assaulted, police said.

After the assault, the suspect pushed the woman to the ground and fled toward Markham Street, police said. The victim did not require hospitalization.
