Heavyset Hispanic man displayed a handgun and took cash and property from victim at Lincolnia-area pool on the 4th of July.

Fairfax County Police say that a gunman robbed a resident at gunpoint at a local pool on the 4th of July.
The robbery at gunpoint took place around 6:45 p.m. in the 5000 block of Caryn Court in the county’s Lincolnia area, police said. The spot is near the intersection of Little River Turnpike and Lincolnia Road.
The victim was sitting in the common area near an apartment community pool and was approached by a man, according to police. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money, police said. The suspect took property and cash and fled, police said. The victim did not require medical attention, according to police.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, heavy set, wearing a T-shirt, blue jeans, a black mask over his face, according to police.
