Roommates Step In During Attempted Stabbing In Annandale

ANNANDALE, VA—Roommates stepped in when a man tried to stab one of their own Thursday in Annandale, according to Fairfax County Police.

Around 12:18 a.m., police say a man entered an apartment in the 4100 block of Wadsworth Court demanding money. The man tried to stab the victim, who said he didn't have money.

That's when the victim's roommates tackled the man and held him until police arrived. The victim went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations revealed the man entered the wrong apartment and believed it was someone else's. Diallo Duffin, 22, of Annandale, faces robbery and malicious wounding charges. He is being held without bond.
