Karoke bar in Annandale offers residents a chance to show off their singing skills without embarassment
Karaoke can be an intimidating experience for someone with stage fright or the novice singer who doesn't want to perform in front of a bar full of strangers. Luckily for Annandale residents, Café Muse has a solution to that problem.
Located at 7356-B Little River Turnpike, Café Muse is a Korean café by day and a private Karaoke bar by night. Opened in 1993, private rooms are what make Café Muse unique and sets it apart from other bars that feature karaoke.
Each private room features a songbook, microphones, and flatscreen TV's which display the song lyrics with videos. The songbook includes over 60,000 songs with selections available in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Filipino, Thai and Vietnamese.

The rates for a room vary depending on the time. Rooms are least expensive daily before 8 p.m. Depending on the day of the week, a small room that fits up to four people is $25 to $35 an hour. Medium rooms, which fits five to nine people, ranges from $30 to $50 an hour. A group of 10 or more can book a large room for $45 to $70 an hour.
During the day, Café Muse serves a full menu and a variety of dishes, which includes dumplings, soup, and vegetarian options. Gimbab, which are maki rolls of rice, meat, and vegetables wrapped in seaweed, are a popular dish.

The karaoke rooms are available Sunday-Thursday from noon to 2 a.m. and Friday-Saturday from noon to 5 a.m. Reservations can be made by calling 703-658-9351 or by e-mailing reservations@cafemusekaraoke.com.
