"I think whoever took it is a professional thief because there's nothing left where the statue used to be," Kim said.
Kim said she reported the theft to police, but Bud Walker, public information officer with the Fairfax County Police Department, told Patch there is no police report on file from the last 24 hours for a theft on Evergreen Lane.

The statue once stood in front of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Annandale, but was auctioned off last year. Kim said she purchased the statue and placed it on Evergreen Lane since it's across the street from her practice, located at 4304 Evergreen Ln.
A call to St. Michael's was not returned.
