UPDATE: Little River Turnpike Reopens
Power lines came down Tuesday after a dump truck struck a power pole, closing the road for hours.
A stretch of Littler River Turnpike has reopened in time for the Wednesday morning commute.
The roadway was closed Tuesday after wires came down.

More than 1,200 homes and businesses lost power Tuesday morning when a dump truck struck a power pole on Little River Turnpike, closing the road in both directions, the Washington Post reported.
A spokesman for Dominion Virginia Power told the Post the company hoped to have power restored to all customers by 3 p.m.
