Suspicious Person Approaches Kid Walking Home In Lincolnia
Police say a driver offered a ride to a child walking home from an Annandale school.

LINCOLNIA, VA—A child walking home from school encountered a suspicious person in Lincolnia Tuesday, March 19, according to Fairfax County Police.
Around 4:20 p.m., the child was walking home from Columbia Elementary School in Annandale. A red four-door car with tinted windows drove up in the area of Pinecrest Vista Drive and Sand Wedge Court. The driver asked the child if he wanted a ride, but the child declined and ran home.
Officers checked the area but were not able to locate the vehicle. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man in his 30s to 40s with a mustache.
